NOAH KAHAN

On September 5th, 2023, I had the pleasure of seeing Noah Kahan live at the Hartford Healthcare Amphitheater.

LISTEN NOW

Hailing from Vermont, this indie pop artist was joined by his talented band: Marcos Valles (drums), Alex Bachari and Noah Levine (guitar), and Dylan Jones (keys). As a first-time listener, I came in curious—and left blown away.

The pit buzzed with excitement as fans eagerly awaited his entrance. When the lights dimmed and Noah kicked off with “Northern Attitude,” the crowd erupted, singing every word.

The set flowed from high-energy tracks like “She Calls Me Back” to softer, emotional pieces like “Everywhere, Everything” and “Maine.” Dylan even broke out a banjo, adding to the night’s charm.

Noah’s stage presence was magnetic—sharing stories, cracking jokes, and opening up about mental health before performing “Growing Sideways.” From the raw vulnerability of “Paul Revere” to the fun, upbeat “False Confidence” (complete with a cowboy hat), each song brought a new layer. “Call Your Mom” delivered a heartfelt message about expressing emotions through music.

He closed the night with a bang—“Dial Drunk” had the crowd dancing, followed by an encore of “Stick Season” that sealed the experience. Noah Kahan’s show felt like a warm, emotional ride—equal parts fun, raw, and unforgettable.

If you get the chance, go. You won’t regret it.
